Embraer has delivered the first brand-new Embraer E175 aircraft to Air Peace. The delivery further strengthens the partnership between Embraer and Air Peace, which already operate the larger E195-E2 and smaller ERJ145 fleets.
The E175 will support Air Peace’s ambition to increase connectivity in Nigeria and across the region while providing the airline with greater capacity flexibility.
Arjan Meijer, President and CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation, said the company was delighted to deliver the first factory-new E175 to Air Peace. He said the delivery highlights continued demand for right-sized aircraft as airlines seek to expand connectivity while maintaining high levels of efficiency and service.
Dr. Allen Onyema, Chairman and CEO of Air Peace, said the delivery of the airline’s first Embraer E175 represents a major milestone in its growth and reflects its commitment to strengthening domestic and regional travel with a modern and efficient fleet.
Onyema added that as Air Peace strengthens its position in West and Central Africa, the aircraft will increase operational flexibility and market reach while maintaining the safety, reliability and service standards expected by passengers.
The E175 will support Air Peace with fuel efficiency, lower emissions, favourable economics on thin and medium-density routes, and passenger comfort.
