Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd., a worldwide provider of satellite networking technology, solutions and services, has received additional orders worth $43 million from a major in-flight connectivity service provider for its Sidewinder electronically steered antenna (ESA) terminals.
Deliveries are planned over the next 18 months in both line-fit and retrofit configurations.
The awards reflect continued demand for low-profile, high-performance connectivity systems designed to meet airline requirements for superior user experience, reliability, scalability and global coverage. They also demonstrate the growing shift by satellite operators toward antennas capable of fully leveraging advanced multi-orbit network architectures.
