Eve Air Mobility and RV Connex Co., Ltd., a Thai engineering and aerospace company, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on regulatory development aimed at supporting Thailand’s Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) industry.
Under the MOU, RV Connex and Eve will work together on long-term industry and regulatory engagement in Thailand, bringing together public and private stakeholders to support the development of safe, efficient and scalable Advanced Air Mobility operations.
“Thailand offers a fantastic opportunity for urban air mobility. Working with RV Connex lets us help shape the regulations this industry needs to grow,” said Johann Bordais, Chief Executive Officer at Eve Air Mobility. “This MOU shows our strong commitment to building the needed regulatory and operational foundations together with local partners.”
The collaboration will evaluate future operational scenarios, safety requirements, airspace regulations and infrastructure needs specific to Thailand’s aviation system. The partners will draw on global AAM standards while considering the requirements of the Thai market.
RV Connex will also work closely with government, academic and industry partners to support a comprehensive and inclusive regulatory development process.
